What Is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy or Therapeutic Arts is the utilization of the different variants of Art as a form of healing.
My Mantra is “To Help You Unlock Your Inner Creative And Heal While Doing It.”
Over here at Art Therapy, we get to open up, bond with our peers, learn more, express ourselves, and create while doing it. Opening up to self and or others is very difficult yet is as equally important at any stage of the human experience. With that mindfulness, our safe space is dedicated to helping you open up, bring a problem to the surface, coming up with solutions via positive feedback and resources from your fellow session peers. From that comes a positive mantra that you will use in the art of release which leads to creation.
Here’s The Base Scheme Of A Regular Session
Sign In/Icebreaker Intro.
Anonymously answer the Prompt (The Session Question) Put in Space Bowl.
Sweater reads answers out loud, the person who answered reveals themselves and elaborates on answer.
Session Peers give positive feedback and creates new mantra together.
Person prepares for Art of Release/Next person elaborates answer to prompt
(AoR) Person says and repeats new mantra as affirmation, peer’s drumroll/countdown. RELEASE!
Repeat for each person then… GROUP PICTURE!
